Thinking about our learning

Now it is almost half term we have been reflecting and evaluating our learning during our Green Fingers topic. There have certainly been lots of exciting bits! I think my favourite thing was when we saw all the trees in Brockwell park and ate our lunch in a circle in the dappled sunlight; very special.

This is one child's likes and dislikes.

What have you liked learning about this half term?

  1. I liked learning about the Gigantic turnip. It's a fun story about a gigantic turnip that never comes out until they ask a mouse to help them. I liked going on the trip to Brockwell park because it had sand. I build a sand man. It made me feel happy.

  2. I liked learning about flowers. It's because I liked the flowers in Kew Gardens. but I liked the roses. We took the train and we gone past the shop. And we went into Kew gardens. The weather was nasty and sunny.

  4. I loved learning about flowers. Flowers are pretty and sometimes when it is night time the petals they close up. I really liked when we was learning about polar bears. my favourite trip this year was Brockwell park because it was the funnest place we got to play in. There was fun rides. My favourite one was when it slides across the wire. It's the fastest ride. It use to be in the funfair. But it got to bored for people so now it's in the park. It's very fast.

  5. I liked learning about the turnip. Because the turnip was too big but turnip is actually not orange. They're not like pumpkins that are orange. I liked the cherry tree because lots of cherries fell down. I wanted to pick one up but I couldn't . I couldn't pick up the cherry when it was there.

  6. I know about plants because they grow by themselves really high. When they grow high they grow gigantic. They grow high up to the ceiling. When they grow to the ceiling they grow to the moon. Then the cherry came out. The cherry came down. I saw a beech tree that we can eat. We saw the ducks when we be quiet. And when we done that we saw a big oak tree. Like a big tree
