We have had a fabulous week of learning
in Year 1; what a start to 2015
We have been learning about addition. Adding icebergs, seals and fish in numeracy, can you spot the theme?
We have started to become Arctic explorers investigating the mysterious ways of the polar bear. But the highlight of this week was visiting the natural history museum to see their stuffed polar bear "in real life".
Everyone was brilliant at becoming museum experts engaging in the adventure we went on and really enjoying the experience. Here are some pictures of our trip.
Can you write a recount of what we did on our trip?

On the trip we were looking at the bears. We drew our favourite animal on the back of our paper. I saw a big, big whale. It was really fun because I saw the blue whale.
ReplyDeleteYesterday we saw polar bears. Polar bears was stuck in the glass. We saw the dinosaurs. The dinosaur was a robot. When dinosaurs shout, they shout so loud.
ReplyDeleteWe went to lunch. We went to get our telescope. We looked at the polar bear and the dinosaur with our telescope. The dinosaur wasn't real but it was serious. They got orange teeth. The dinosaurs screamed out of their teeth. We watched them.
