Arctic adventures

We have been using drama and role play in Year 1 to pack and get ready for imaginary expeditions to the Arctic to research polar bears.

This is a list of things that one child wants to take.

What would you say to this child?
What do you think of their list?
Would you take what they are?
What advice would you give them?
How could they improve their writing?

  1. I really like your work because you're work is very fantastic. I like that it has finger spaces.

  2. I love your writing because she is taking a crown.

She has to do it small to make it neat.

  3. She can do little writing so there is enough space.

I liked that if her lips get dry she can put on the lip gloss. And she bring glow pillow so she have light in the igloo. And I liked when she bring clothes.

That's it. It was good writing.

  5. I liked that Deborah took a glowing pillow so it doesn't be really dark.

  6. She coud rub out her full stops and do her full stops when she's finished. I like that she's taken lip gloss in case her lips get dry or if like, she gets a cold sore. It will be really cold in the Arctic. Her lips will get dry.
