Money in my purse

Miss Wooldridge has eight coins in her purse.

She takes out three coins.
What are all the different amounts Miss Wooldridge could take out of her purse?

  1. I would choose the one coins. There are only two which would make 2p. I would take the silver one and count five time. If you maybe take two out it will be six coins left. And if you take four coins away it will mean that there is four coins left.

  2. I would choose 5p and 10p and 1p. They would add up to more than 10p.

  4. She could take a 2p, a 1p and a 5p. Then she would have 8p then.
