What a trip

We all loved our fantastic trip to Margate last week. We played in the sand, built sandcastles, paddled in the sea, had ice cream and spent our pocket money in the souvenir shop. Such fun.

We are all so excited for our trip to Margate tomorrow. We have been doing lots of learning about Margate now and in the past and are really looking forward playing on the golden sands.

Well done to Chris Riddell, the author and artist who has taken over from Malorie Blackman to become the 9th Children's Laureate.

Chris has said that over the next two years he wants to encourage everyone to draw something everyday.
